Each plan on Roamly shows the supported speeds — typically 3G/4G/5G or 4G/LTE. Check the plan details before purchasing.

What affects speed?

  • Network coverage — Speeds depend on the local carrier’s infrastructure. Major cities usually have strong 4G/5G coverage, while rural areas may fall back to 3G.
  • Network congestion — During peak times, speeds may be slower.
  • Device capability — Your phone needs to support 5G to use 5G speeds. Older phones may be limited to 4G.

Is 5G guaranteed?

No. Even if a plan lists 5G, actual availability depends on the local carrier’s 5G rollout at your specific location. You’ll always fall back to the fastest available network (4G, 3G) if 5G isn’t available.
