When your plan’s validity period ends, the eSIM will stop providing data — even if you have unused data remaining.

How validity works

Each plan has a set number of validity days (e.g. 7 days, 14 days, 30 days). The countdown typically starts when you first connect to a mobile network at your destination. For example, a 7-day plan activated on Monday will expire the following Monday.

Can I extend my plan?

If your plan supports top-ups, purchasing a top-up will extend the validity period. Check your eSIM detail page on My eSIMs to see if top-ups are available.

What happens to the eSIM on my phone?

The eSIM profile will remain on your phone but won’t provide data. You can:
  • Delete it from your phone settings to keep things tidy.
  • Leave it — it won’t cause any issues or charges.

Can I reactivate an expired plan?

No. Once a plan has expired, it cannot be reactivated. You would need to purchase a new plan for your next trip.
